In the next post, I will explain much more about Sujok and how it actually works, but given the huge amount of geomagnetic / emotional / spiritual 'stress' in the air at the moment, I just wanted to post this diagram up now, so you can try this at home and see if it helps.
The points marked on the palm (above) indicate the body's main glands in relation to the endocrine system. These are the parts of the body that get most fried-out and disrupted by geomagnetic storms, coronal mass ejections and space weather. When this stuff gets out of balance, all sorts of strange emotional states and physical issues can occur, and believe it or not, seed therapy can help us get through these tough times, and help us maintain more balance mentally and physically.
TRY THIS TONIGHT:
Get some clear adhesive tape from the pharmacy (that's designed to stick to skin). You can use plasters if you want, but it won't be as easy to work it out.
Then, take a WHOLE red lentil (split ones won't work) and stick a lentil on each of the spots marked on this diagram, before you go to sleep.
Make a note of any weird aches or pains you have right now, or any other strange emotional states and / or physical symptoms, and then see how you feel when you wake up tomorrow morning.

One of the more curious things with the internet and all the stuff that comes with it, like i-Phones, Youtube, Facebook et al is that while the research I’m presenting here on spiritualselfhelp.org clearly suggests that the electromagnetic frequencies that this technology is operating on must have a direct, deleterious impact on the user’s mental and physical health, there is precious little official evidence that suggests that’s the case.
Or so it looks at first glance.
But if you start to dig a little deeper, and cast the net for research a little wider into countries like China, South Korea and Taiwan, you quickly find that there is actually a mountain of evidence that’s already accumulating around what’s now being termed ‘Internet Addiction Disorder’, or IAD for short.
Now, if you’re a regular reader of this site, you’ll already know that I really don’t buy in to all the ‘disorders’ and mental illness labels the psychiatric establishment is so fond of pasting on to everyone.
The basis of all mental illness is a fight-flight-freeze-fawn stress response that’s got stuck, or stuck in permanent ‘on’ mode, typically due to some sort of chronic or massively acute trauma and / or neglect that was experienced in childhood.
THE BRAIN IS PLASTIC
The brain is plastic, and just as it was ‘trained’ by the traumatic experiences to start reacting in an unhelpful ‘mentally-ill’ way, it can be retrained via self-awareness, self-education, selc-compassion and a whole load of prayer to start operating again in a much healthier fashion.
But what the preliminary research from Internet Addiction Disorder appears to be showing is a couple of very disturbing things:
1) People with pre-existing issues like feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem (aka ‘toxic shame’) and difficult interpersonal relationships are much more drawn to excessive internet use to boost their mood, escape from their problems, and ‘ease their pain’ - in exactly the same way you’d use any other substance or addictive past-time, like gambling, for example.
2) Being online all itself is also causing people to feel far more depressed / anxious / yucky / socially disordered / hostile, and is literally training the brain to re-act in ‘mentally ill’ ways that stimulate the more dysfunctional ‘primitive’ parts of the brain - and cut a person off from the types of activity that will strengthen their frontal lobes.
If you forgot why healthy, frequently-used frontal lobes are crucial for good mental health, here’s a quick infographic to remind you:
The long and short of it is, the more time a person spends online, the less time they have to devote to the sort of self-nurturing, self-developing activities described on the infographic, that will strengthen their frontal lobes and start to tame the more primitive parts of the brain responsible for an out-of-control stress response and addictions.
Even more strangely, is that while Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) is getting so much attention amongst health professionals that a whole group of them were pushing to have it included in the latest DSM 5, the Western governments are surprisingly mute about the obvious and growing public health problem that is addiction to the internet, particularly amongst our teens.
Here’s some snippets of some of the latest scientific literature on Pubmed to show you that IAD is a real and growing problem, regardless of society’s attempts to completely ignore it.

Hilarie Cash,a,* Cosette D Rae,a Ann H Steel,a and Alexander Winklerb
THE OFFICIAL DEFINITION OF INTERNET ADDICTION DISORDER:
“[IAD] is accompanied by changes in mood, preoccupation with the Internet and digital media, the inability to control the amount of time spent interfacing with digital technology, the need for more time or a new game to achieve a desired mood, withdrawal symptoms when not engaged, and a continuation of the behavior despite family conflict, a diminishing social life and adverse work or academic consequences.”
HOW TO DIAGNOSE THE DISORDER:
“[T]he following five diagnostic criteria are required for a diagnosis of Internet addiction:
(1) Is preoccupied with the Internet (thinks about previous online activity or anticipate next online session);
(2) Needs to use the Internet with increased amounts of time in order to achieve satisfaction;
(3) Has made unsuccessful efforts to control, cut back, or stop Internet use;
(4) Is restless, moody, depressed, or irritable when attempting to cut down or stop Internet use;
(5) Has stayed online longer than originally intended.
Additionally, at least one of the following must also be present:
(6) Has jeopardized or risked the loss of a significant relationship, job, educational or career opportunity because of the Internet;
(7) Has lied to family members, therapist, or others to conceal the extent of involvement with the Internet;
(8) Uses the Internet as a way of escaping from problems or of relieving a dysphoric mood (e.g., feelings of helplessness, guilt, anxiety, depression) (emphasis mine).
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE AFFECTED?
There’s a crazy variation in official estimates, ranging from .3% to 38%.
I’m inclined to think that the 38% is much more realistic, for a number of reasons. Firstly, as I’ve been sharing with you here, this technology is profoundly affecting us at the physiological level, and can stimulate the mind and body - or relax it - in exactly the same sort of ways as chemical substances.
It’s addictive, mamash - and for people who want to make money, the best way of keeping their customers and punters queuing up and coming back for more is to make your offering addictive, physiologically (just ask the Columbian crack barons.)
The second reason I think the higher estimate is more realistic (and probably still not even really reflecting the true extent of the problem) is that you only have to look around your house, your family, your office, to see everyone is addicted to their devices.
This is not rocket science, but simple, every-day observation.
And the last reason I think the higher number is closer to the mark is because there’s a number of additional studies that suggest that is the case, some of which I’ll bring here:
SOME MORE RESEARCH ABOUT THE PREVELANCE OF IAD
“Internationally, up to 15.1% of intensive Internet use among adolescents is dysfunctional.”
It should be noted here that ‘dysfunctional’ use is classified as more than six hours of non-work related internet / gaming / online use a day. So any kid who is only spending 5 hours online every single day wouldn’t be classified as ‘dysfunctional’, in this study.

(The mind boggles as to how much internet you’d have to consume a day to qualify for an ‘extreme’ addiction…)
EVIDENCE THAT USING THE INTERNET IS SERIOUSLY AFFECTING OUR MOODS AND PHYSIOLOGY
Again, I’ve already been laying out the scientific basis for how electromagnetic fields can and do severely affect how the human mind and physiology reacts and behaves, affecting everything from hormones to stress levels and even, the amount of oxygen in the blood.
Western medicine is still a long way behind the curve of accepting something as out there that internet use (and its associated electromagnetic frequencies) could be stuffing up human health and giving people heart problems, headaches, and other physical symptoms of major subliminal stress and tension.
But here’s what some of the studies have to say between the links between internet use, and mental and emotional disorders:
“Poor self-rated health, unhappiness, and depression were significantly related with Internet addiction in male and female teens. Depressed girls had a much higher risk of internet addiction than boys who were experiencing similar feelings of depression.”
This last one is more than 12 years' old now. I can only imagine how 'bad' the picture would be today, when i-Phones are everywhere.
SUMMING THINGS UP
I could carry on writing this for another three years (as excessive research online is also another symptom of chronic internet addiction...), there’s just so much stuff out there making direct links between things like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, hostility, ADHD, self-harm and a whole bunch of other emotional issues and spending a lot of time watching the big (and small…) screen.
Remember, the baseline for ‘excessive use’ is fixed at anything over six hours a day - which makes the true scope of the problem much, much greater than anything that is being formally recognized or dealt with even by the people who are publicly talking about the so-called ‘Internet Addiction Disorder’, or IAD.
As a society, we have a huge problem on our hands. The more time we spend plugged in, tuned in, wired up, addicted to our screens, the more the hard-wiring of the brain and the body’s delicate physiological systems are being impacted, and messed-up.
If you look for the research to back this statement up, you’ll find it in reams.
But what you won’t find is any real solution to the problem, not least because most people are blissfully unaware of just how much internet use is directly impacting their physical and mental health.
So it falls to each of us, as individuals, to begin to turn this tanker around by turning off as much as possible, and actively looking for ways to scale back our unnecessary activities online.
It’s much easier said than done, as the internet is truly addictive, and breaking free of it is not an easy proposition. But it can be done! And BH, in the next post I’ll share some practical steps you can start to implement to minimize your time online as painlessly as possible.
Before we continue looking at HOW human health is being impacted by ions and protons and electrons in our environment, I thought it would be useful to give a brief rundown of how our solar system actually works.
For example, every time a comet, or some other foreign body enters our solar system, it will have a profound affect on the electro-magnetic forces acting on the earth itself, and on the people who live here.
Comets are coming into our solar system all the time, from tiny meteors to massive planet-sized bits of electrically charged rock. And all of these extra-terrestial 'visitors' impact you and me, and our health, and our mood, in some way.
Read on to discover the mechanism for how this works.
THE ‘JAMES McCANNEY’ EXPLANATION OF SPACE WEATHER
Independent astro-physicist has developed what he calls the Plasma Discharge Comet Model, which explained the following:
The key point to remember from this section is that the solar system is dynamically electric - and NOT electrically ‘neutral’, as NASA claims - and that comets interact with the sun, and the earth, and every other planet / moon / body out there in an ELECTRIC fashion.
HOW COMETS AFFECT SPACE WEATHER - AND HUMAN HEALTH
As mentioned above, whenever an object enters our solar system, it starts to interact, electrically, with the sun, the moon, planet earth, and everything else to be found in our particular corner of space.
All of these interactions lead to changes in the earth's electro-magnetic field, in the solar wind, and in the amount of radiation bombarding planet earth. In turn, this will affect our health and outlook in the ways I've been describing in previous posts. But here's what's going on from a 'space weather' perspective:
1) The sun produces far more ‘electric energy’ than light energy.
2) The earth has a huge, vertical electrical field that is sustained by the sun’s electrical power distribution system. The current of this field is stored in the earth’s ionosphere, and the air in our atmosphere is what’s called ‘dielectric material’.
3) Usually, the earth’s magnetic field protects us and buffers us from the sun’s energy. When the electrical conditions in our solar system start to change rapidly, as the result of an additional ‘body’ starting to engage the sun and increase the amount of ‘charge’ going into and out of the the ‘solar battery’, the electrical fields and currents that we’re subject to down here on planet earth start to go haywire as the sun discharges more, and greater, solar flares.
4) When something like a large comet approaches our solar system, as soon as it reaches the outer edge of the planets, the solar system’s ‘electricity’ starts to ratchet up to much higher levels.
5) More electrification = more energy in the earth’s atmosphere and the earth’s oceans = more evaporation of water = more ‘haze’ in the atmosphere. In turn, this triggers off a bunch of ‘climate change’ phenomena like:
7) Our earth’s magnetic field is made up of many layers, some of which are ‘stable’, but most of which are variable, and highly affected by what’s occurring in the atmosphere around them.
8) The variable part of the magnetic field can be temporarily reversed, or ‘flipped’, for short periods of time as a result of massive solar storms and / or comets passing very close by to the earth.
9) Every planet / moon / comet / object in the solar system generates some sort of ‘magnetic field’ as a result of its electrical interaction with the sun, including our own moon. That’s why new moons have the biggest impact on the earth’s weather (and on living organisms, as previously explained.)
10) Planet earth’s magnetic field diverts the ‘solar wind’ - that current of electrically charged photons that’s constantly streaming our way from the sun - from the planet.
11) The closer a comet of size comes to the sun, the more electrical discharge starts to happen, which causes more energy in the solar atmosphere, leading to more and stronger solar flares, which in turn can affect or alter the earth’s magnetic field structure - leading to crazy weather, climate change phenomena, and even crazier people.
In case you're wondering what this really has to do with you, the answer is: TONS!!!!
For example, just a couple of days' ago on July 8th, there was a big solar flare that instantly hit the earth with tons more ionising radiation than we usually get.

As well as causing atmospheric changes that are relatively easy to pick up - i.e. skin burns faster and deeper in the sun, even though it doesn't FEEL particularly hot or dangerous - as we've been learning here on spiritualselfhelp, these peaks and changes in the subtle electro-magnetic balance of our planet also directly affects the bio-electrical signals of the human body.
We've seen that after solar flares and solar storms, there's huge rises in depression and attempted suicides - but that's only what's been measured and recognized. The real links between 'space weather' and human health and outlook are still really being ignored or deliberately missed.
So if you were feeling a bit peaky on Saturday July 8, or a bit unwell, or a bit 'down' - it could well boil down to the effects of that extra radiation in the solar wind playing havoc with your internal bio-electricity.
Mind-blowing, isn't it!
Meridians are the bodies electro-magnetic 'energy pathways', and the body uses them to signal a whole bunch of stuff, including hormonal changes, biochemicals, gene expression (RNA) and emotional states and moods, to list just a few.

There's a lot of 'bio-electrical stressors' in our modern world, including i-Phones, wifi, FM radio, microwaves, power lines, military communications networks, airfields and also, the earth's atmosphere itself, which is electrically-charged and deeply affected by things like solar storms and solar flares.
So, as well as the body's bio-electrical grid of meridians being stressed / overcharged / blocked / weakened by internal factors like stress, negative emotions, lack of sleep and bad diet (to name but a few) it can also get fried-out by these external bio-electrical stressors, too.
And that is definitely happen at the moment!
To give but one example: A couple of days ago, I got severely 'zapped' by my damp laundry as I was taking it out of the washing machine. The static electricity had built up to such a high level, it discharged a 'shock' that was actually pretty painful.
Here's the thing: I'm much more susceptible to attracting these discharges of static electricity than the other people in my house, presumbably because my body's bio-electricity is more out of whack at the moment. (I'm currently researching this angle, to try to get a definitive answer of how static electricity and the body's bio-electricity interplay, so this part is still guesswork at the moment).
In the same way I can get 'zapped' by my washing, I can also disrupt computers and mobile phones, and again, that tends to happen much more when I'm feeling under the weather etc.
I HAVE been feeling pretty stressed-out and fatigued again recently, so there are two things going on here:
1) There is more static electricity build-up in the external environment at the moment
2) My 'bio-electric- grid (i.e. the meridians) are not functioning as well as they could be.
I can't really do anything about the external environment, so I have to try to manage the problem my end, by strengthening the meridians - and that's where the following videos comes in!

The washing waits for no-one.
So, you’ll recall that for the last few weeks, I’ve been experiencing quite a bit of inner stress, without knowing exactly why that’s occurring.
In this post, I set out some of the insights I got about why certain aches and pains were coming up, and what to do about them. But the aches and pains related to my head - which I felt was connected to the general craziness going on in the world - haven’t really improved so much.
After pondering on what was going on, and talking to God about what was going on over a number of different occasions, last week things started to move. I got some insight that they were related to anger, and anger is the gallbladder meridian, that runs all over the top of the head before going down the sides of the body to the fourth toe.
After sedating the gallbladder meridian a couple of days in a row, the tension in my head (and in my body generally) started to abate noticeably - and that’s when the dreams started up.
The last few days, I’ve been having some very traumatic and disturbing dreams. For two nights, I was dreaming about huge fires burning down cities. The next night, I had a dream about a massive earthquake. Just now, I had a dream that was kind of an up-to-date verion of a holocaust-era round-up of people.
I am waking up from these dreams completely terrified.
On the one hand, I know they’re just dreams. On the other, I can see that on some level, I have some immense fear of what’s to come going on. In the meantime, a lot of my physical symptoms are ameliorating, or morphing into more noticeable and normal symptoms of anxiety.
Instead of having a continues pain and pressure up the back of my neck and going into my head, now, I’m having stomach issues and I’m consciously feeling very nervous. This is actually progress, as the ‘issue’ is moving out of the deepest reaches of my subconscious, and more into my conscious mind where I can really start to work on it and acknowledge what I’m truly feeling.
Which brings me to the fear tap.
I’ve got into the habit of adding in an extra ‘energy exercise’ to my five minute morning routine, which I let God pick for me. (If this sounds a bit weird, it simply means that I open the book randomly and I ask God to help me land on the right energy exercise for me, today.)
Today I came up with the fear tap.
The fear tap takes two minutes to do, and it’s super easy. It’s benefits include:
Man, I need all of those at the moment!
Here’s how you do it:
On the back of your hand, locate the indentation between the ring and pinky fingers. Tap the area with 2-3 fingers with your other hand, for up to a minute. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
This is a standard part of the EFT tapping routine, btw, illustrated in the diagram above, but it can also be used alone when you just need a quick something to help your body calm down and your mind to stop feeling so anxious about ‘what will be’.
Something tells me, we could all be using it, this week.

But in the meantime, this is one of my 'go to' techniques for starting to get the energy flowing properly in the nefesh level of soul again:
The technique is very simple: Before you go to bed, use some micropore-type medical tape to stick a WHOLE lentil on the places on your hand marked above.
When you wake up in the morning, see which ones have cracked - those are the areas that really need some work. If all your seeds crack overnight - that shows you're pretty exhausted on the energy front, and you may need to take a long, hard look at what needs to change for you to start enjoying your life more.
Keep sticking the seeds on every night (using new lentils...) until they stop cracking.
If you're very exhausted, or if one area is particularly weak, it could easily take a week or two, but don't give up!
Strange to say, lentils have brought me through some extremely stressful, taxing periods of life when my physical energy was literally crashing through the floor.
